Contract Packaging
Shield Works has extensive experience packaging a wide variety of items for various industries. We fulfil all packaging needs whether it be through hand packaging with plastic bags and boxes or more complex custom packaging solutions.
We also have the capabilities to shrink wrap any material or product.
Disassembly, Re-Assembly and Repacking Services
In repackaging, the current packaging is removed and replaced with the new customer-specified packaging (i.e. different boxes or bags).
Repackaging may be necessary if a product has been incorrectly packaged or if an inspection is required. Shield Works is prepared to handle quick turn-around repackaging jobs at any time. Speed to market is vital in today's business climate, don't let the need for new packaging or post-package product inspection slow you down.
Assembly Simulation and Testing
At Shield Works we understand the critical nature of assembly trials and process optimization within any new product development cycle. Prior to any project launch within the Shield Work facility our team of technicians will work with customers and/or their design house partners to simulate final assembly processes in order to evaluate costs and provide full DFM feedback. Optimizing the product components for assembly ahead of full manufacture will save costs, reduce production lead-times and can also significantly lower future quality risks.
Prototype Assembly Projects
Prototyping is an important element of manufacturing. When necessary, various prototypes can be built to optimize solutions, often to vet design iterations and manufacturing methods. At Shield Works, we offer a full prototyping assembly service. This service is freely available to customers in instances where we can envision undertaking full final assembly in our facility.
