Privacy Policy

How we collect, use, and protect your information.

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how Zhuhai Shield Works Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd. ("Shield Works", "we", "us"), part of the C2W Group, handles personal data collected through shieldworksmfg.com. We are a business-to-business manufacturer; we collect personal data only to respond to enquiries and run this website properly.

Who we are

Zhuhai Shield Works Precision Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
Floor 2 and 4, Precision Workshop Building C, Zhong Yuan Industrial Park, No. 2 Shengli Road, Sanzao Town, Jinwan District, Zhuhai, Guangdong, 519040, PRC.
Email: info@shieldworksmfg.com

What we collect

  • Enquiry data you provide: name, business email, phone number, company, and the project details you submit through our contact forms.
  • Usage data collected automatically: pages visited, approximate location, device and browser information, and how you arrived at the site, collected through the analytics tools listed below.
  • Visit history sent with an enquiry: when analytics are allowed (see “Your choice” below), your browser keeps a short record of this site's pages you have viewed, your first and most recent landing page, and the referring site or campaign link, for up to 30 days. It stays in your browser unless you submit an enquiry, in which case it is sent with your enquiry so we understand what you were looking for. Choosing “Essential only” deletes it.

How we use it

  • To evaluate and respond to your enquiry, which is our legitimate business interest in responding to a request you initiated.
  • To manage our client relationships in our CRM (HubSpot).
  • To understand how the website is used and improve it.
  • To protect the site and our advertising from fraudulent or automated traffic.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not send marketing email without a lawful basis to do so. Enquiry data is shared within the C2W Group only as needed to handle your project.

Cookies and analytics tools

The site uses the following third-party tools, which may set cookies or similar identifiers:

  • Google Analytics 4: anonymised site usage statistics.
  • HubSpot: form handling, CRM, and enquiry tracking.
  • Microsoft Clarity: anonymised session analytics to improve usability.
  • Google Ads: measuring the results of our advertising.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: spam and abuse protection on forms; subject to Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • ClickCease: click-fraud protection on our advertising.

Your choice. The cookie banner lets every visitor choose “Accept all” or “Essential only”, and we store that choice in your browser. If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you choose “Accept all”. Elsewhere they are on by default, and choosing “Essential only” turns them off. Microsoft Clarity only runs after you choose “Accept all”, wherever you are. You can change your choice at any time: cookie settings.

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from browsing the site or contacting us by email or phone.

How long we keep data

Enquiry and client records are retained while we have an active relationship or a genuine prospect of one, and thereafter as required for legal and accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained according to each tool's standard retention settings.

International transfers

We operate from China and serve clients worldwide; the tools above may process data in the United States and the European Union. Where data of UK or EU residents is transferred, we rely on the safeguards offered by each provider, including standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under UK and EU GDPR and US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and to object to processing or request portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@shieldworksmfg.com and we will respond within the timescales required by the applicable law. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our tools or practices change, and the date at the top reflects the latest revision.
