Shield Works is a 100% Foreign Invested Enterprise (FIE) under PRC law, with full rights for assembly, manufacturing, and product exportation.

The three British founding directors have been based permanently in Asia for over twenty years. Day-to-day operations run under a Shield Works management team based on-site full-time, applying Western standards of service, communication, and quality directly, not interpreted by intermediaries.

Shield Works is a wholly-owned subsidiary of C2W Group, the Hong Kong-registered, British-owned supply chain group founded in 2005. The same principles of transparency and integrity that have run C2W for two decades run the Shield Works floor every day.

Quality is never an accident. It is always the result of intelligent effort.

Final product quality is Shield Works' primary focus. Trained production workers apply ISO standards across every stage of production. ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001, all accredited by BSI ANAB, govern day-to-day operations.

Every Shield Works production worker doubles as a QA inspector. If issues are identified, any team member has authority to stop the process and apply corrective measures immediately. The approach is proactive: the earlier a problem is identified, the faster it can be resolved.

Quality plans are customised to each client. Inspection levels, criteria, and testing parameters align directly with the client's product specification and quality aims.

Drawing on twenty years of C2W Group manufacturing experience in China, Shield Works is built around rapid, transparent data communication throughout production.

The facility runs continuous production monitoring as part of the manufacturing software system. Clients can interact directly with the production line through daily reports covering output, efficiency metrics, downtime, shift patterns, quality failure rates, scrap, corrective action resolutions, and process improvement measures.

The aim is an open window into the facility: the same data the floor sees, available to the client, every day.

Shield Works' team is open to new ideas, procedures, training, and equipment. Specialised manufacturing processes and IP-critical components can be assessed and quickly introduced at the facility when viable.

If you have an in-house process you'd like to keep entirely under your control, we can build a dedicated production zone around it. New techniques developed in-house become part of our process library.
